How we calculate the estimate
The table preserves the calculator's built-in USD unit-price bands. No primary price survey or current supplier price list was identified for these constants, so they should be used as illustrative assumptions. The banquet furniture cost guide offers related scope questions; neither page establishes a quotation.
| Item | Illustrative unit-price band (USD) |
|---|---|
| Steel-frame stacking banquet chairs | $95 – $175 |
| Aluminum stacking chairs | $140 – $275 |
| Resin Chiavari chairs | $95 – $190 |
| Wood / aluminum Chiavari chairs | $200 – $400 |
| Commercial barstools | $225 – $600 |
| Lounge chairs | $650 – $2,000 |
| Round banquet tables (60") | $350 – $900 |
| Rectangular banquet tables (6-8 ft) | $300 – $800 |
| Cocktail / highboy tables | $225 – $550 |
Final project pricing depends on the complete specification, quantities, freight lane, timing, and installation requirements. The calculator intentionally provides a planning range rather than promising a specific concession before those details are known.
Economy uses the bottom 40% of each unit band; Standard removes 15% of the band width at each end; Premium uses its upper half. Presets fill quantities from the entered capacity or room count, then allow editing. Custom finishes multiply the furniture total by 1.20. Freight and installation, when selected, add 14% to the low end and 26% to the high end after that uplift. These are fixed scenario rules, not confirmed concessions, specifications, or delivery terms. For upholstery context, ACT explains the limits of abrasion testing.

Common questions
How much does banquet furniture cost?
The calculator contains illustrative unit-price bands, including $95 to $175 for steel stacking chairs and $350 to $900 for 60-inch round tables. These are model constants, not verified current supplier prices. Selected quantities and tier settings produce a scenario budget; written quotations establish your project price.
What drives the price difference between two similar-looking chairs?
Compare the documented frame construction, warranty, upholstery test method and results, foam specification, and suitability for your application. ILD describes indentation firmness rather than foam density. Abrasion results alone do not establish furniture quality or service life.
Does order size affect the final price?
Order quantity can be part of a supplier quotation alongside specification, finish, freight, and timing. This calculator has no quantity-discount function: doubling a line quantity doubles its modeled furniture cost. Ask the supplier to state any applicable price breaks in writing.
Does the estimate include shipping and installation?
The base scenario covers furniture. Turning on freight and installation adds modeled amounts of 14% at the low end and 26% at the high end, after any custom-finish uplift. Those percentages do not price a freight route, taxes, tariffs, site access, or installation work.
How long does commercial furniture take to arrive?
This calculator does not estimate a delivery date. Ask the supplier for written milestones covering approvals, production or stock allocation, transit, receiving, and installation. Confirm what starts the lead-time clock and which deadlines depend on your approvals.
