Write down the intended use before requesting a coordinated enclosure and seating set. If the space is meant for public resting or informal use, plan around that access instead of a restaurant-only perimeter. If staff will provide table service, confirm the cafe route and applicable boundary details with Planning. Keep the selected operation visible in the furniture brief so later accessories do not change its character.

Tulsa's Sidewalk Café and Tables & Chairs Manual asks the cafe plan to identify street fixtures, utility vaults, tree pits, the building facade and door swings. It calls for utility-location information when fencing is proposed to be secured with bolts. The design submission also includes manufacturer information or images of the proposed furniture and fencing.
